Overview
The salok states that a being becomes wise and adept through the Nam of IkOankar (the Divine). By dispelling pride and enshrining Nam in the consciousness, all comforts and mind-desired fruits are received.The pauri states that through the Nam and the company of virtuous beings, all sorrows and conflicts are destroyed. The being is saved from decline and liberated from the fear of death. Their mind becomes filth-free, and their face radiant. They realize the presence of IkOankar.
