In these
saloks, it has been stated that the human body is filled with flaws. It is foolish to be proud of this body and the transient worldly things. Only the
Nam of IkOankar (the Divine) is eternal and helpful. Happiness lies in the remembrance of Nam. By remembering Nam through the Wisdom (Guru), life becomes fruitful, and diseases, sorrows, sufferings, and vices are removed. The seeker’s life and the lives of those who are in the seeker’s company also become fruitful. This precious gift of Nam is received in the company of virtuous beings.
By remembering Nam in the company of virtuous beings, seekers unite with the all-pervading IkOankar and find eternal comfort and happiness.
