The ninth pauriis accompanied by two saloks. The first salokconsists of five lines, and the second salokconsists of twenty-three lines. In the first salok, the futility of worldly education that results in egoism has been described, and in the second salok, the rituals practiced by people have been rendered as worthless. In the pauri, while addressing IkOankar, the company of those individuals who remember IkOankar and remain grounded to the earth, has been sought, instead of high-caste individuals who remain tied to dogmatic practices.
